Why We Call Our Blog the Miracle of More

The miracle is a beautiful image of Ephesians 3:20--more than I can ask or imagine. Every day is a miracle. Every moment is a miracle. Specifically for our family, the miracle of more is our family growing in ways I would never have imagined when we first committed to adoption 8 years ago. But, the greatest miracle is the change in ME!

If you have questions about adoption, our work in South Africa, or spina bifida, please email me at rbmattox@bellsouth.net

Sooooooooo

Wanna know what I've been doing?

Our district is opening a new school...and I'm excited to be one of the teachers moving. Josie-Tatum, Ellie, and I will all be at the same school.

Here is what my classroom looked like 2 weeks ago, when I first entered.

Hours later, and several additional helping hands... here is what it looks like now:

Our first official pre-planning day was today. Meetings, meetings, meetings....
Tomorrow, I'll actually start "decorating" the elementary classroom......

Time for the teacher to go to bed.

How exciting! I got to do that about 10 years ago. Please post pics after you decorate. I teach 2nd grade. What grade do you teach?
