There have been a few times that I knew Stan had heard from Jesus, moments when the Holy Spirit resonated in my heart with affirmation that only a Christian can understand.
The TWO most significant moments happened nearly one year apart from one another.
The first was last December 2010, when he told me he had a "vision" of two little boys wrestling on the great room floor with their daddy.
The second was New Year's Eve, December 31, 2011. The details are far more than I can explain, but the results are miraculous. Stan had a long conversation with God, the longest I've ever heard him pray. His heart was so open and humble, as he poured out his soul. He promised God to be a better husband, a better father, a better friend. The remainder of our day was sweet fellowship with husband and wife.
But, then.......
He asked me to marry him again. (No, we weren't divorced. ;)
He called a pastor friend and asked him to come over and guide us in repeating our wedding vows. He said he didn't want to wait. He wanted to start the New Year as a new man.
So, just before midnight, in t-shirts, jeans, sweat pants, flip flops......we had the sweetest ceremony in the history of the world. I have never felt the love of God flowing through my husband like I did in that moment.
Here is my favorite photo of the year 2011.
I can't wait to see what each new day holds in 2012. Because His mercies are new every morning, and because I know my best friend Stan is going to guide me closer to Jesus, every day God can work Ephesians 3:20 moments.
2012 will be the Miracle of More for our family. With joyful anticipation, we await the arrival of our Drew and Zeke. We can't wait to introduce them to our Heavenly Father as they watch their earthly father live radically for JESUS!

Robbie that is wonderful beyond words!
We renewed our vows this past summer for our 10th wedding anniversary. We even took family vows and the kids were up there with us. It was so so special.
Thank you for sharing your husband's heart and renewed hope, faith and love for Jesus!
