Why We Call Our Blog the Miracle of More

The miracle is a beautiful image of Ephesians 3:20--more than I can ask or imagine. Every day is a miracle. Every moment is a miracle. Specifically for our family, the miracle of more is our family growing in ways I would never have imagined when we first committed to adoption 8 years ago. But, the greatest miracle is the change in ME!

Thankful

Our pastor says, "If you think, you'll thank."

So today I have to share with all of you how thankful I am for my sister. Her name is Bobbie, and she will be going to China with us.

She lives down the dirt road from our house. Each morning this summer, I've taken a 4 mile walk, past her house 4 times. Today, as I was approaching her house, I saw something written in the road. I had to get closer to read each word written on my path. The message read:
Good
Morning
My
Sister
I
Love
You!

How's that for a sister?
And, she's praying as hard as I am, I think, for our LOA.

May you all find one special reason to be thankful today,
Robbie

Robbie,

I was thinking about you and Ellie the other day and the wait you have endured and I could not believe after I checked Ben's papers that Ellie and him are on the same COP list! I didnt realize she was from the Nov list! My heart goes out to you often and I am praying your little girl gets home soon! Praise God that your LOA is ON THE WAY! It goes so fast after that, it really does! I encourage you to read 1st Peter...it will be a blessing to you.

Kim (COP Mommy to Ben, 19 months old)
