Why We Call Our Blog the Miracle of More

The miracle is a beautiful image of Ephesians 3:20--more than I can ask or imagine. Every day is a miracle. Every moment is a miracle. Specifically for our family, the miracle of more is our family growing in ways I would never have imagined when we first committed to adoption 8 years ago. But, the greatest miracle is the change in ME!

Happy Gotcha Day! Five Years Ago Today

We were once just a family of four.

I never could have dreamed five years ago how God would change our lives when we adopted Josie-Tatum. She has brought us more joy than I could have ever imagined. God is indeed the giver of good gifts. I love you, my beautiful girl!

Now a Family of Seven

We celebrated tonight by eating at Josie-Tatum's favorite Chinese restaurant. Just now Josie-Tatum said she has 3 favorite days, her birthday, Christmas, and her Gotcha Day....especially her Gotcha Day. I pray that she will always know how special she is, that she is a child of the King, that God chose her to be part of our family. We plan to watch video of our trip to China tomorrow. And, Saturday, we'll celebrate CNY in Jacksonville.

Enjoy these pictures from the past 5 years.

Still grieving just 24 hours after "Gotcha"

A Changed Little Girl!

Wow how she has changed! Oh Robbie she is so great. Please remind her how many lives she has touched. If not for her we may not have Samuel.
