I would like to share with you how my family blessed me on my birthday this past Friday.
I also need to share with you some sweet moments with Ellie on her Gotcha Day.
But, there is a far more pressing matter.
Someone I love dearly is fighting the greatest spiritual battle I have ever witnessed, a battle with Satan himself, a battle that cannot be described with mere words of a physical nature.
Today, I began to think of Moses. Joshua was fighting a battle, and Moses was praying with hands held high.
And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
Until his hands began to grow weary.
But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.
I have been praying for my friend, fervently, incessantly, late at night, and early in the morning. Sometimes my hands begin to grow heavy. So, I wonder....would you be an Aaron and a Hur for me? Would you grab my hands spiritually and hold them up? Would you become part of the effectual fervent prayer that avails much?

Can you feel it? I have a hand in yours right now! Won't let go, either, til the battle is over. Hold on!!
