Why We Call Our Blog the Miracle of More

The miracle is a beautiful image of Ephesians 3:20--more than I can ask or imagine. Every day is a miracle. Every moment is a miracle. Specifically for our family, the miracle of more is our family growing in ways I would never have imagined when we first committed to adoption 8 years ago. But, the greatest miracle is the change in ME!

If Only....

You could have been here tonight when Ellie said her prayers. It would make you laugh much harder.

She began, "Jesus, thank you that I was a good girl today............. well.............most of the time."

And, I'm not sure what she prayed beyond that, because I was too busy stifling my laughter.

Her prayer request does make you wonder and smile all at the same time.

PS. You must be on the countdown for summer break! I know my husband is ready to say goodbye to his students for just a little while...

Honesty in prayer... very refreshing! Doesn't it make you wonder if we are as honest with out prayers. Think that is how we should all pray... thanking God that we were good most of the time and asking him to forgive the REST of the day! She is such a cutie!
