Why We Call Our Blog the Miracle of More

The miracle is a beautiful image of Ephesians 3:20--more than I can ask or imagine. Every day is a miracle. Every moment is a miracle. Specifically for our family, the miracle of more is our family growing in ways I would never have imagined when we first committed to adoption 8 years ago. But, the greatest miracle is the change in ME!

If you have questions about adoption, our work in South Africa, or spina bifida, please email me at rbmattox@bellsouth.net

Prayers and Dollies

Ellie was praying tonight, while holding a doll and began,
"Thank you that I was a good girl with my dolly."

She continued
"Please help Brandon with my dolly.
Please help Grandma with my dolly.
Please help Whitney with my dolly
Please help Mama with my dolly
Please help Daddy with my dolly
Please help Caleb with my dolly...."

ad nauseum

Until I finally said "Amen."

And Ellie said, "Amen......with my dolly."

Your blog is always a lovely way to end my day. Sweet dreams to the Mattox family and dolly too.

soooo cute Robbie! When Evan says his prayer he mummbles something barely audible like...thank you for mommy, daddy, the curtains, my floor", and then shouts an amen! and he switches it up every night...these kids are just a riot :-)
