Why We Call Our Blog the Miracle of More

The miracle is a beautiful image of Ephesians 3:20--more than I can ask or imagine. Every day is a miracle. Every moment is a miracle. Specifically for our family, the miracle of more is our family growing in ways I would never have imagined when we first committed to adoption 8 years ago. But, the greatest miracle is the change in ME!

If you have questions about adoption, our work in South Africa, or spina bifida, please email me at rbmattox@bellsouth.net

Another Update

I scanned and submitted all of the documents for pre-approval yesterday...that took some time.

Then, when I submitted them, I learned the China coordinator was out of the office for the afternoon. Whine.....

Still waiting to hear today that they have been uploaded to CCAA's website, so everything will be in China Friday morning.

I have learned a little from the long wait for Ellie. It will happen in God's timing. I don't have to be in control....Notice, though, I said I've learned a little. I am not as anxious as I was when we waited on Ellie, but I am still anxious. I try to trust God.......

But, then the coolest thing:

I was reading in Genesis....when Abraham and Sarah were told she would have child. And God said, "Is anything to hard for the LORD?"

Is anything too hard?

Paperwork?

Medicals?

Finances?

Is anything too hard?

I believe there is someone reading who has said, "I would like to adopt, but...."
And, no matter what the but, is anything to hard for the LORD?

Look under the header and see the first "new page" I've created on our blog....I will keep information about Our Little Emperor here.

Check it out!

I hear you and you may be talking to me... I am willing but still a bit chicken as we have many of the same challenges you do. We have however fallen in love with a little guy and are sponsoring him. I am so encouraged and blessed by your testimony through this experience. PRAYING FOR YOU AND YOUR LITTLE ONE THAT WAITS!
