Why We Call Our Blog the Miracle of More

The miracle is a beautiful image of Ephesians 3:20--more than I can ask or imagine. Every day is a miracle. Every moment is a miracle. Specifically for our family, the miracle of more is our family growing in ways I would never have imagined when we first committed to adoption 8 years ago. But, the greatest miracle is the change in ME!

If you have questions about adoption, our work in South Africa, or spina bifida, please email me at rbmattox@bellsouth.net

Guess What!!!!

Well, our friends received PA yesterday.....and I saw others posted on boards. I was a little discouraged thinking we may have to wait until next week to hear.

We took Josie-Tatum to the doctor today, and her arm is healing well. PRAISE THE LORD! She will surgery on Dec. 21st, to remove the wires from her arm. More prayers, please.

And, I came back to work, and opened my email, nothing from our agency.

A friend was reading to my class, and said she would continue reading while I took a few minutes to get my thoughts together before taking over the class again.....AND.....in that two minutes, a new email had arrived.

PA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WE have PA!

Praising the LORD!!!!!!! We have PA!!!!!!!!!!
(For those who don't understand the lingo, we have prior approval for the newest member of the Mattox family.)
We'll begin the paperchase now to bring him home, and if you haven't seen his face, check out the posts below......

Please continue to pray that the LORD will sustain us on this walk on the water. WE've had a few donations, but we will need more just for the application fee to send in now. Feel free to share our need with anyone and everyone you know. Join us in this exciting FAITH journey.

Doing the dance of praise!

We are so excited for you and your family but especially for this special child.
We too received our PA yesterday. Although we have adopted 10 times prior this is a first for us from China. Exciting and nerve racking at the same time.
