Why We Call Our Blog the Miracle of More

The miracle is a beautiful image of Ephesians 3:20--more than I can ask or imagine. Every day is a miracle. Every moment is a miracle. Specifically for our family, the miracle of more is our family growing in ways I would never have imagined when we first committed to adoption 8 years ago. But, the greatest miracle is the change in ME!

It's Beginning....

to look a lot like Christmas, of course.

Ordinarily, I would have all of my decorating complete long before now. But, last weekend, I was busy with some important paperwork...and the last few days I've been nursing a precious treasure.

We did put the tree up last weekend.

The girls enjoyed just opening up the containers with all of the ornaments and getting the keepsake ornaments out of their boxes.

And, this year, Ellie was more open to some supervision of the placement of her ornaments. Josie-Tatum, the perfectionist is always careful.

Today, when Josie-Tatum was peaceful, I decided it was time to complete the outside decorating. She chose to sit outside in the swing, listen to Christmas music, and just watch. She sat outside for over 2 hours. I suppose she has been quite bored.

And, this year, I had to climb on the roof to place the wreaths on the dormer windows. Caleb has taken care of that for me for the past few years.

Now, with just a few small touches left, it is nearly complete.

I added a new background and it's not showing up. I wonder if any of you see it. I've checked FAQs on the cutest blog on the block site, followed those intructions to no avail....Anyone know why my lovely Christmas background isn't showing up?

And, thank you again for all of your prayers for my big baby girl. She is comfortable on the couch now, with an ice pack lying around the soft cast as recommended by one of you! We're trying to decide the best position for sleep tonight.

well the friends all want to meet the mama on the roof now.
I tried to tell them that you're not on the roof all the time but they don't believe me.
Taylor says 'TELL YO MAMA I SAID HI!'
Grayson says 'Hey mama...'
Frank says 'I have a dreamscicle.'
yeah, i have weird friends.
