Why We Call Our Blog the Miracle of More

The miracle is a beautiful image of Ephesians 3:20--more than I can ask or imagine. Every day is a miracle. Every moment is a miracle. Specifically for our family, the miracle of more is our family growing in ways I would never have imagined when we first committed to adoption 8 years ago. But, the greatest miracle is the change in ME!

If you have questions about adoption, our work in South Africa, or spina bifida, please email me at rbmattox@bellsouth.net

The Hand of the LORD Hath Done This

More about the photo from yesterday:

The day before we received the SURPRISE photos of our Zeke, I had requested some updated photos of our Drew. We are blessed with a contact in China who is able to update us on Drew's condition, and she is faithful to give us information when we request it.

After adoring the face of Zeke for a day or two, I sent one of the photos to our contact in China. Then she surprised me, too....

She showed Drew the photo of his brother, and she took a picture of Drew seeing him for the first time.

And, my heart melted.

Here is more for you to see and shed some happy tears with me.

There is the possibility of some AWESOME things happening for our boys. Please pray fervently. I will add this to my prayer and fasting on Thursday.
Remember, if you have a prayer request you'd like to share, leave a comment or send me an email.
Join me on Thursday, if you feel led, as we seek His provisions for our mission trip to South Africa, his provisions for our adoptions, and His moving on behalf of our boys while they wait on us.
God is doing GREAT and MIGHTY things. "That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the LORD hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it." Isaiah 41:20

Yes, I don't know you, but I have just shed happy tears for you and yours! My prayer request is for God's will to be done concerning us adopting just one daughter or two - our SW is reconsidering on Thursday.
