Why We Call Our Blog the Miracle of More

The miracle is a beautiful image of Ephesians 3:20--more than I can ask or imagine. Every day is a miracle. Every moment is a miracle. Specifically for our family, the miracle of more is our family growing in ways I would never have imagined when we first committed to adoption 8 years ago. But, the greatest miracle is the change in ME!

If you have questions about adoption, our work in South Africa, or spina bifida, please email me at rbmattox@bellsouth.net

We're Excited

While waiting on an adoption (or two), and waiting on the LORD to provide for our mission trip, God has sent a sweet smile to us. I am excited for my girls. First, you see, we're going here on Saturday:

The girls have been saving birthday money and Christmas money. Rather than buying a new toy for the house, they are spending their money to help pay for the hotel room and tickets to see the University of GA's gymnastics team in the Regional Meet.

If that wasn't exciting enough, a sweet young lady sent posters to our girls today. The posters were signed by the girls on the Gym Dogs team.

And...if that isn't sweet enough:

The same person sent me a text today that read, "If you can be here early on Saturday, I can take your girls to meet the team in person before the meet!"

I'm soooooooooooo excited...almost as much as the girls. I love sweet surprises from Jesus.
