Why We Call Our Blog the Miracle of More

The miracle is a beautiful image of Ephesians 3:20--more than I can ask or imagine. Every day is a miracle. Every moment is a miracle. Specifically for our family, the miracle of more is our family growing in ways I would never have imagined when we first committed to adoption 8 years ago. But, the greatest miracle is the change in ME!

The Open Door Hint #1

To fully grasp this clue, I fully believe you must re-vist this post:

I Love. Love. Love. Love watching the LORD work in the lives of my children. This is quite a story to tell, but I don't think all of the magnitude of what God was preparing our family for could be understanding without visiting something that happened about 2 months ago.

Sometime before the holiday season, and I don't remember when, Ellie said, "Mama, when I grow up I want to be a Christian singer. Then I will give the money I make to Josie-Tatum so she can go on missions."

I pondered those words for a few minutes. Then, as the LORD spoke to me, I told her, "You don't have to wait until you grow up."

We began discussing the possibility of Ellie having a mini-concert, and, since there were no family members planning mission work for the moment, she would donate the proceeds to a ministry dear to our heart. Life was busy, so we decided we would start planning after Christmas.

Little did we know...God was up to something more.

Stay tuned!
