Why We Call Our Blog the Miracle of More

The miracle is a beautiful image of Ephesians 3:20--more than I can ask or imagine. Every day is a miracle. Every moment is a miracle. Specifically for our family, the miracle of more is our family growing in ways I would never have imagined when we first committed to adoption 8 years ago. But, the greatest miracle is the change in ME!

If you have questions about adoption, our work in South Africa, or spina bifida, please email me at rbmattox@bellsouth.net

A Star Is Born......Maybe Two

Wild, crazy, and other such words...that's been our week and weekend.

First off, prayers please...I'm having issues with my blood pressure. It was very high on Thursday, very unusual for me. It has been better this weekend, so I'm monitoring it closely. And, yes, Bernie, I am going to take care of myself. I want to see my children grow up.

Please pray for Ellie, too. We will be at Shriner's on Tuesday. We are so hopeful that Ellie will get out of her brace. We're going to Walt Disney World next Friday, and we want her to be walking...even if it's with the support of her walker.

So, along with other things, we had a yard sale this weekend to make some extra money for our Disney World weekend. We pulled many things out of the attic, most of which were toys that once belonged to Whitney and Caleb. I didn't think we'd be able to sell some of them....Ellie wanted to play with and keep all of the toys she saw. She even played with one doll house for almost 2 hours.

But, today, when I was outside and came back in..the girls were in my bedroom with the door closed. When I entered, I found the girls putting on a show. Josie-Tatum was playing the keyboard, while Ellie used a moroca as a microphone. Enjoy the video!

Oh my. Please take good care of yourself, Robbie. Your girls are too cute. I loved that video. I'll be on pins and needles with updates from you this week. Take lots of pictures at Disney. Love and hugs.
